Lesson One -- Aggressive Rhythms:  The Chuck Berry1950's rhythm, The Iron Maiden Gallop, and two Pastor Brad riffs/rythms -- the riff to " Out of the Hellhole" & the basic rhythm to "Skipping Along".  These rhythm patterns are a blast to play---Most of them are pretty quick & aggressive and each one will teach you a NEW GUITAR SKILL that will benefit you in tons of ways as you progress... plus they just sound great!  I'll teach you how to bang 'em out in a way that pulsates along and FORCES people's heads to bang!

Lesson Two -- Skipping Strings:
Skipping Strings--The ability to play an aggressive staccato style rhythm is an essential for any serious hard rock/metal guitarist!  I'll get you up to speed with this technique using one of my tunes called "Well Done".
Lesson Three -- Hammers, Pull-offs and Scales in Rhythm:  Hammering onto and  pulling off to notes and infusing melodic runs into your rhythm playing ---these touches will set you apart from a lot of run-of-the-mill "strummers" ... these are the kinds of skills that are characteristic of really good rhythm players.  I'll teach you these techniques using two Pastor Brad tunes and a classic Led Led Zeppelin tune  (Riffage, Forbidden fruit & Over the Hills and Far Away).

Lesson Four-- The Classic Rhythms:  Chunk/Rock--Another Classic and Essential Skill is the ability to mute power chords and thump out heavy rythms.  You'll master this skill as you learn the verses to Living After Midnight and Rock You Like a Hurricane!

Lesson Five--Hammering Chords :  Hammering onto Chords is a very cool technique that I use a lot.  It will add a really nice dimension to your rhythm playing -- one that will open up a whole world of ideas.  (Hammering on the A5, the E5, and bar chords!)
