Some of the ways you can partner with me to make an impact... PB PR Reps Home     Guitar Jams     Contact     I had a bro write me recently and say, "Hey, I'd like to help... tell me more..." In the hope that I would be addressing this type of question a lot---I decide to post my repsonse here so you could read it and learn. Hey Brother... that's fantastic... thanks so much for your interest in this ministry bro... Shoot me a phone number to reach you on and some good times to reach you and I'll give you a call. Let me give you a brief glimpse of my heart--where I believe God is leading and some ways that you could a real blessings/vital part of the ministry. Here's a thumnail story... When I launched Guitar Jams in 2003 I thought it was just going to be about me sticking up a website... recording some Christian metal tunes and sharing them with a small circle of friends... and it was ... for a while... but little by little--God continued to lead me to new contacts... new vision... and a bigger understanding of how He could use my gifts for the Kingdom.  I sort of resisted for a while--you see, metal music was a god for me before I came to Christ------and so any time the thought of doing metal music for a living (or at least as a major part of my life) came up--I would repress it--saying, "That's your old flesh Brad... let that go...you're  pastor... come on now, be reasonable."  But the pull only grew stronger... and then God began to confirm that it was indeed Him who was calling me--through other people.  I received lots of confirmations... one that really blew my mind was a letter I received from Blaine, of FAITH FACTOR... Anyway--God broke through and humbled me... and made it clear that my job was simply to trust, obey and follow.  So--I have laid the Pastor Brad Metal Ministry in God's hands and I'm just pursuing this thing with all of my heart---having fun watching God open doors.  In the past couple of weeks I've been invited to play Cornerstone... I've hooked up with Faith Factor and will be doing some shows with them... my radio play has increased significantly.... God's laid a vision on my heart to create a series of 365 "Bible Moments with Pastor Brad" ... a three-minute audio program that will air on metal radio stations... and just loads of things... it's blowing my mind to be quite honest. NOW--TO THE PB PR REP thing... I KNOW I can't do this alone... and I have no desire to try.  I'm a people person--I love connecting and serving with people... that's what birthed this idea to put the invitation out there for people to partner with me. I look at this group (PB PR Reps) as sort of an "inner-circle" a group that I can invest friendship in... trust in... and give those things back in return.. a group of fellow soldiers on a mission--TO REACH AS MANY METAL HEADS FOR JESUS AS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE PASTOR BRAD METAL MINISTRY. HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS I THOUGHT OF THAT YOU COULD HELP WITH: I'm sure this isn't an exaustive list--you may think of other things... GREAT!  let me know if you do and I'll add them to the list of possibilities.  But--just read over this list and see if any of these sparks your interst.... then email me back and I can go into more detail about them. Radio Promo---Contacting Stations with a promo pack (I would give you) and saying, "Hey, you guys need to play/interverview this guy!"  I would send you all of my cds (or any that you don't already have--including new releases) and you would then rip them for mp3s (mp3 submittals are AWESOME, because they are free), or duplicate them (burn some cdrs) and slap a simple sticker on there with basic info and mail it to stations along with some info I'd provide.  Podcasts-- There are hundreds of metal podcasts out there---just like radion promo--you're role would be to track them down--and contact them with a promo pack. Booking Agents and other Christian (rock/metal) or secular Rock/Metal Bands-- I need all the help I can get to book shows... I would love to meet/partner with other Rock/Metal bands to do shows... Christian bands would be great... and secular bands would too--because of the ministry opportunity it would present... and I would love to work with several booking agents here in the N.E. USA.  ... seek them out and contact them ll send them a promo pack... talk with them about working with me. BLOGS-- seek out metal blogs (3, 4 5, 6 ... however many you feel comfortable with) and develop a relationship with the blogger... then... when it's appropriate--turn them on to my music see about having them write about it. FORUMS--secular or Christian--- just like blogs... seek out a few... develop a relationship with the community (DO NO SPAM) and when the time is appropriate ... put something about Pastor Brad with a link to guitar jams in your signature... so it's there every post. Online/Hard Copy Metal Magazines--seek 'em out... contact them with a promo pack and see if we can get some reviews, interviews, feature articles, etc. going...
